Became a lawyer (UH) and worked for federal judge Wood. Judge Wood was assassinated while I worked for him. "Hello Don,
I just wanted to thank you again for your invaluable help in locating John an apartment in San Antonio. You saved us so much time when our time was very short (24 hours) and educated us on the area around Trinity University. We are pleased with the apartment we chose at Oakwell Farms and never would have found that area without your guidance.

"Celeste Berban, Administrative Secretary to VP Strategic Sourcing, Valero Energy Corporation (business partner) was with another company when working with you “Don is a brilliant real estate professional, head and shoulders above any I've ever worked with before. He stands apart from others in his field due to the following key attributes: (1) his extensive education: Economics major undergrad from Stanford, MBA UT Austin and finally his law degree, the Doctrine of Jurisprudence from University of Houston. (Who doesn't want a licensed attorney in their real estate agent?...a true and rare asset); (2) his strong entrepreneurial skills and abilities (he understands every aspect of running a successful business and will help buyers crunch the numbers to make the best purchase for them given their personal financial abilities and needs); and ultimately (3) his strong commitment to his customers. Don will go above and beyond to assist his customers and will do the necessary legwork to get his customers all relevant information (both good and bad) to make informed decisions. I strongly recommend Don Reser for all your real estate needs. What year did you become a real estate agent?
2004
(6 Years)
What is the average home price in your market?
Our home market in San Antonio varies widely from $50,000 to $1,000,000 or more.
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
San Antonio remains in an economic bubble compared to the rest of the country. Military spending is strong, new companies (Whataburger and Medtronics) are moving in, but we lost the national headquarters for ATT.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I love San Antonio and I love helping others discover our city.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Emotional sellers, the hard work it takes to correctly stage a property for sale. Buyers are interested in the city, so getting them acquainted with the neighborhoods is fun. If you are comfortable with the neighborhood, you can be comfortable with a purchase.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I have had a number of times where people wanted to give me money in addition to my commission because they felt I helped them so much. Humbling experience.
What is your best characteristic?
My understanding of the process and my depth of knowledge about the city.
Who or what inspires you the most?
When you are in the service of others you are in the service of heavenly father. Real estate gives me the opportunity to help others and make a living.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Winner: Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
Runner up: A smile costs nothing.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
San Antonio
